Our vehicles come with a 3 month warranty (subject to contract and terms)
At Elmstead Cars we offer vehicle warranties through third party warranty companies
Their Mechanical Breakdown Insurance, has been designed to provide:
Comprehensive parts and labour cover for each vehicle
Repair and recovery advice from dedicated and knowledgeable staff
Personal service from buying the policy to making a claim and receiving payment
We make sure that our customers have motoring protection and are fully satisfied with their vehicle during their period of ownership.
Our warranties reimburse all mechanical and electrical components of the vehicle that were manufacturers original fitments except those listed below.
Components NOT Covered Including but not limited to:
All bodywork and trim, seat belts, glass, sunroof panels, fuel tank, wheels and tyres, hinges, brake facings, seized callipers
The renewal of any clutch component due to incorrect adjustment, misuse or general wear and tear
The clearing of fuel lines, filters, carburettors and pumps
Air Bags
HT leads, spark plugs, filters, wiper blades, lights and bulbs, belts, shock absorbers, wiring looms, glow plugs
Exhaust manifold, exhaust system, brackets, mountings and hoses, water ingress, cables
Worn or leaking seals and cylinders
Batteries
LPG Converstions
Catalytic converters
Gearbox general wear and tear
Drivetrain general wear and tear
Engine general wear and tear
Certain items are specifically not covered for particular models of vehicle including but not limited to:
Block liners for all Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles
Head gasket to all vehicles fitted with any type of K series engine
Crankshaft bearings on all Toyota 1ZZ or 2ZZ type engines
Our warranty cover reimburses the cost of repair or replacement of the main components listed below - full parts coverage is available on request. Items not listed are excluded .

Some items within these general headings are not included within our warranty. These headings are set out as a guide only.
What is Not Covered
1. Vehicles which have been modified in any way from the manufacturer's specification, or are owned temporarily or otherwise (resulting from trade-in or acquisition for the purpose of resale) by a business formed for the purposes of selling or servicing motor vehicles, or used for competition, racing, pace making, hire or reward (except taxis and private hire), off road use (including all Quad Bikes), driving school, goods in transit, delivery courier, or designed to carry more than 9 people including the driver, or over 3500kg gross weight.
2. Any malicious damage.
3. Any costs incurred in excess or outside the liability under this insurance including any form of consequential loss.
4. Any part of any Motor Insurance claim
5. Any additional costs within any finance agreement, alternative warranty, payment protection or vehicle recovery fees.
6. If any misrepresentation or concealment is made by or on behalf of the policyholder in support of obtaining the policy or any claim on the policy.
7. Any loss for additional purchases at the time of purchase of the vehicle
8. Any finance due on the vehicle or carried across on to the vehicle from previous finance agreements.

Elmstead Cars have negotiated a Special Warranty Price with our warranty company to offer you an Exclusive Deal:-
12 Month package- £295

All our warranties are offered within the advertised price of all of our cars for 3 months, however negotiation on the advertised price does alter the contract of sale and warranties become negotiable on the specific deal agreed. Our warranties are subject to a 7 year, 70,000 mile limit. Special arrangements can be agreed within the contract of sale past this time if details are written and signed within the vehicle invoice.
